The Brooklyn Nets are preparing to give the Miami Heat a run for their money next season.
Hellooooooo Brooklyn!
In a huge move to rebuild and shake up the Boston Celtics organization, they brokered a deal for Doc Rivers to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for a first round draft pick. They announced yesterday the move to send Jason Terry, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets. This trade, once final, will leave Rajan Rondo all alone in Beantown, probably wondering about his own fate.
The Celtics are rebuilding and the Nets are using their deep pockets to make a run for the Finals next season. Their first round draft pick Mason Plumlee from Duke University wasn’t a bad addition either. He will definitely complement the starter Brook Lopez.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in Brooklyn next year.
Will they give Miami a run for the title? Or will it take a few years for Jason Kidd to get into a groove with his newly acquired roster of talent?
What do you think?
