Kanye West Named in Infringement Lawsuit

Kanye West has been named in a lawsuit for allegedly sampling the song “Bumpin’ Bus Stop” by Thunder and Lightning without permission.
According to court documents, Thunder and Lightning's children, Trena Steward and Lorenzo Pryor own the rights to the record. Roc-a-Fella Records, Bad Boy Records, Stones Throw Records and Bomb Hip-Hop Records are also named in the lawsuit. Surviving relatives are accusing Kanye of illegally sampling the song in his 2005 chart topper, “Gold Digger.”
It is also allegedly reported that the various labels took part in a massive 15-year “copyright infringement scheme,” a violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Steward and Pryor are reportedly asking for an undisclosed amount in damages.
I have listen to both songs and I just can't make the connection, however I may have missed it because Thunder and Lightning's song wasn't that attention getting. If you can hear the sampling please let me know...
