President Obama TALKS Race Relations Post Zimmerman Verdict!

President Obama, surprised many on Friday by addressing the verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial. Obama discusses the experience of being a black man in the United States and shares the perspective of African-Americans. President Obama has not spoke extensively about race relations since 2008 and this is the first time he’s truly discussed race relations as a president!
This is a BIG DEAL!

President Obama states in the briefing room of the White House,

“I think it’s important to recognize that the African-American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that — that doesn’t go away,” There are very few African-American men in this country who haven’t had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store. That includes me.”       

A jury on Saturday found George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, not guilty of second-degree murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin in early 2012. The verdict has elicited marches and protests across the country, although there has been little violence. The killing of Mr. Martin, an unarmed black teenager, ignited a national debate on racial profiling and civil rights.

President Obama issued a statement shortly after the verdict. But on Friday, he said he wanted to talk more broadly about his own feelings about the verdict and the impact it has had among African-Americans.

“I don’t want to exaggerate this, but those sets of experiences inform how the African-American community interprets what happened one night in Florida,” he said. “And it’s inescapable for people to bring those experiences to bear.” 

Mr. Obama also said he and his staff were examining policy options, and he raised questions about the wisdom of laws like Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.

“I think it would be useful for us to examine some state and local laws to see if it — if they are designed in such a way that they may encourage the kinds of altercations and confrontations and tragedies that we saw in the Florida case, rather than diffuse potential altercations,” the president said.    

Mr. Obama spoke in deeply personal terms — which is amazing considering discussing race relations is very tricky for OUR PRESIDENT.

Trayvon Martin’s life and death is not in vain.

Kudos to President Obama for speaking our truth!

D. Wade’s ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches’  was spotted in Chicago in front of a federal building with a sign saying she’s homeless. This is not the sort of press D. Wade needs in the wake of his recent big win. What's really going on with their relationship? Is she really living on the streets? Is this a publicity ploy to garner attention and sympathy?
We don’t know but these pictures are crazy and they are all over the net.
When will this saga ever end?
According to the rumor mill the person who captured the pictures claim they overheard Funches ranting about “$90 million contracts” and “houses on the water.” Earlier this month, Funches sued Wade over proceeds from his endorsement deals; maybe this is a way to garner public support for her cause. Dwayne Wade and Siohvaughn Funches had a nasty divorce/custody battle that resulted in her losing custody of her 2 young songs.
It appears that Siohvaughn is in more trouble as she was spotted in Chicago outside of a federal building “sharing her story”.

But if she is really having this hard of a time D. Wade needs to help her out! I mean damn she is the mother of his children!

Ralo Wonder Speaks Out On Porsha Stewart Cheating Rumors

After being accused of being the reason for Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Stewart’s pending divorce to Kordell Stewart, Ralo Wonder has now released a statement. The statement addresses the allegations and details the extinct of their relationship.

“First thing first…
“Me Porsha never had an Intimate relationship let’s clear that up first!! It was all business no pleasure. Second I didn’t release them fake text messages!! What happened was we started a record label and we were looking for a female artist so after looking at a bunch of people we chose Porsha once we found out she supposedly could sing!! I Chose Her!!
I looked at it as, she’s already on a hit show and she’s a pretty girl so that’s half the Work!! She already had a good platform to launch from!! All the people I had helping me with the label didn’t believe in her!! Any way I put together a half million-dollar budget and put my partner on the project Steve Lucas who is a 20 year vet and had managed JODECI, MARY, PUFF, AKON etc.!!
He got in contact with her and met with her, he offered her a deal and she was interested. I never wanted to meet her!! He was going back and forth with her and when we would be going over all the projects we were doing, I would ask him what was the status on the situation!! He would be unsure because it was hard to deal with her because of how Kordell was controlling her!! Sometimes she would make it to meetings sometimes she wouldn’t!! So I told Steve don’t worry about it and that the marriage is not going to last!! So just get her signed and as soon as they announce on TV they’re getting a divorce, be ready to put a record out and capitalize off all the media and it would be a hit over night!!
So some time went past!! Steve called me one day and said Ralo you were right they just announce that there getting a divorce!! I said reach out to her and see if she’s ok!! When he reached out to her she said she was O.K.!! She just needed a couple of things!! Some Money and her own place!! Her Advance on her contract was 50K, so that was some money for her right there and then. We hooked her up with a realty agent to find her a place with a budget of 5K a month, then she found something for 10K so Steve said hold on I have to ask the CEO of the Label Wonderboy!! So I said OK!! So she said who is that 9Wonderboy). She then went out with the realty Agent who had mentioned my name to her and that’s how she got introduce to me!! The next morning we spoke, and after we spoke I told her to stay in contact with Steve and she went Crazy!! She said NO, NOOO!! NO!!!!! I want to be in contact with you, so I said OK!! So we had everything set up for her and now it was time to hit the studio to see what she can do. She said OK!! I said I see you when you come to New York to record!! She said OK!! I’m sooo excited I can’t wait!! I asked her if she practiced the song we sent her and she said yeah!! I love it so much it made my MOM cry etc… We get to New York and she doesn’t want to record!! Set the studio time up twice she didn’t want to do it!! She was like oh I just need to rest my voice and clear my head!! I said OK, but she wanted to do all kinds of other stuff. Then we get back to Atlanta and she doesn’t want to record again but she wants to do all this other stuff, do on vacations and look at houses, so I said something isn’t right!!
Then somebody real close to her told us Porsha couldn’t really sing. I was like nah we have a demo on her she sounds good. They said OK you ready to go in the Studio!! She said wait, hold on, let me call somebody. So I said to myself this is Some BS!! This Girl doesn’t want to sing and I basically put the situation on hold until we knew if she could really sing and that was it!!
Afterwards, every time I would bring up going to the Studio she would change the subject and she started spiraling out of Control. She would say “the Media is everywhere I can’t take it, I want to got here, I want to go there, I want to go here” She started acting like she was Beyonce getting divorced from Jay Z.
I talked to her and calmed her down!! The next day she said thanks for everything and beating me back into shape. We kept in touch and every week and she would say she’s going to be ready to record but she never was. After a while the plan we had to break the first song for her lingered on to long and we felt the window had closed and that was it!!
There are no hard feelings, and I certainly wish Porsha the best in all her endeavors!!”

This is totally crazy... And I also think it's true.

Confessions: I'm in Love with my Brother

Dear Justice,

I recently met the man of my dreams and ever since we have been inseparable. We share the same values, ideas and outlook on life. We have been thinking about moving together to save money so that we can eventually plan for our wedding.
I spoke to my mom the other day and told her about my new found love and how I want her to met him. She was absolutely thrilled. She wants grandchildren and she wants to see me get married. While talking she told me that she ran into my father's brother at the store and gave him her phone number to give to my dad.
I have never met my dad and wasn't really sure I wanted to. After talking to him a few times over the phone I agreed to meet him. I went to his house where he had several other family members waiting, including my half brother and sister.
To make a long story short when I got there everything was fine until I walked into the den and saw my new boyfriend. My palms immediately became sweaty and I was so afraid because I had never mentioned to him that I hadn't met my father. Here I was caught in the middle of a lie and now it was going to be exposed in front of a room full of strangers.
My dad began to introduce me to everyone and when he got to my boyfriend, he introduced him as my brother. I was sickened and heart broken.
Since then I have been trying to figure out what to do. I am really in love with him and I know that what we are doing is wrong but I didn't do this on purpose and now I don't know how to get out of it. My mother has been pressuring me to meet him and I don't want to tell her it's my brother or that we have continued to see each other even though we know the truth. I am so confused and afraid of losing the best thing I ever had. What should I do?

Bambi had to a lot to say last night and Kandi had to get some stuff off of her chest too.

We were all the way turnt up last night at Kandi Koated Nights. Bambi had a lot to say. We were like “GIRL?”. The home girl wants you all to know that he is an 8 when it comes to sex. She also wants you to know she is strictly DICKLY. She aint interested in no woman or girls. She also suggested the big homie Lil Scrappy can work his tongue. Like I said she was all the way turnt up! Go head Bambi!
Kandi also had some stuff to get off of her chest regarding the up and coming Love and Hip Hop Star Mary Jane. Kandi said that Mary Jane had her beat last week and that she really don’t want none. Mary Jane better recognize Kandi is not the one to be tampered with. She is just letting her know!
