Drake wishes he and Chris Brown could talk out their differences. In an interview in the July issue of “GQ” magazine, the rapper expressed his hope that the two could work out their feud with a peaceful conversation, however, the rapper admits such a sit down is “not going to happen.” While they may remain at odds with each other, the Young Money rapper hopes to overcome the feud. He says he doesn’t want his name “to be synonymous with that guy’s name.” Drake also hinted at how things with Chris Brown became so heated that violence erupted between the pair’s entourages last year. He claims he’s “not confrontational,” but says when someone challenges him, he’s “not going to back down.”
On a lighter note, Drake also opened up about his single “Started From The Bottom.” He believes many people “wish their favorite rapper wrote it” because of a perception that it “should be gangster.”
Drake shared photos of his pops, over the weekend to honor him for fathers-day…

Chief Keef Arrested After Guilty Plea

chief-keef-mug-shot
Chief Keef is in trouble with the law for the third time in one month. Minutes after the embattled rapper pleaded guilty to speeding last month, he was reportedly picked up on a misdemeanor trespassing charge. His lawyer Leah Starkman tells the “Chicago Tribune” she believes police were waiting for Chief Keef to leave the courthouse before arresting him, though the details of why he was arrested were unclear.
Earlier in the day Chief Keef — born Keith Cozart — accepted a plea bargain for driving 110 miles-per-hour in a 55 miles-per-hour zone last month. He was sentenced 18 months of probation, during which he was ordered not to drive. Chief Keef will also have to perform 60 hours of community labor as well as undergo random drug testing and eight hours of traffic school.
As Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg sentenced Cozart, he warned the rapper that if he violates the conditions of his plea agreement, he would be jailed. Apart from the arrest for speeding, Keef was arrested in Georgia for allegedly smoking marijuana in a hotel room last month.
Chief Keef’s rough day didn’t end there. Keef was also hit with a second paternity lawsuit. Starkman says the woman in this latest case claims that the rapper is the “natural father” of a little girl.
What do you think about Chief Keef's legal woes?

VIDEO : Chris Brown Releases Hot New Aaliyah VIDEO “Don’t Think They Know”

Chris Brown is highlighting gang violence in the second single from his upcoming album “X.” Featuring previously unreleased vocals from the late singer Aaliyah, “Don’t Think They Know” hit airwaves on Monday.
The accompanying video opens with a statement saying that “every two hours in America today a child dies of a gunshot wound.” Brown then takes viewers on a journey through Compton, California alongside local youth. Shot almost entirely in black and white, the video finds Brown uniting rival gang members.
When he’s not in Compton, Brown appears alongside two projections of the late Aaliyah as they join together for the song’s chorus. The video is dedicated to his late friend Lil Frogg, as well as Aaliyah, who he thanks for “inspiring us all.”
“X” is scheduled to hit stores on July 16th.

Photos: Evelyn Lozada Head Wound Pics Are Revealed

evelyn-lozada
After just one day of Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was released early from his brief 30-day sentence, pictures of ex-wife Evelyn Lozada and her head butt injury stemming from their domestic violence incident have been made public. And they are not pretty.
According to TMZ, The photos were taken by Davie Police in the Florida emergency room where Evelyn was transported following Chad’s attack on August 11th, 2012. According to police, the forehead laceration measured 3 inches.
If you need a refresher, the then married couple got into a heated argument last year outside of Ochocinco’s home, which resulted in his arrest. Two months later, they divorced. Ochocinco pled “no contest” to the domestic violence charges and was sentenced to 12 months probation.

When Ochocinco was being released from jail, the judge took a moment to comment on Evelyn’s injuries calling them “horrific.” Check out the video from the courtroom, courtesy of TMZ:

Is it a coincidence that these pics just happened to be released shortly before the new season of Basketball Wives premieres in August? Makes you wonder…
No comments have been made yet from Ocho or Evelyn or their people yet. At this point, it’s probably best to just stay quiet.

What do you think of these pics?
Any advice for Evelyn or Ocho? Let us know!

Jay-Z Giving Away A Million Copies Of His New Album : Jay-Z & Samsung Offering Up Free Downloads

jayz_samsung-freddy-o
Hip Hop mogul, Jay-Z is giving away one-million copies of his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail right before the official album release on July 4th. Jay-Z has teamed up with Samsung to release free copies to the first one-million people who download the album’s mobile app on their Samsung smartphones, starting June 24th.

This is an interesting move for Hov because those free copies won’t make a dent in the Billboard Charts. David Bakula of Nielsen Entertainment says,
”The freebies are not eligible for the chart. Billboard doesn’t count bulk sales or “free-to-consumers” albums.”
Jay-Z already considers his 12th album as platinum selling. On Monday, the rapper jokingly asked if one million records get sold and Billboard doesn’t report it, “did it happen?”
Jay-Z unveiled his album plans in an extended Samsung commercial that aired during Game 5 of the NBA Finals Sunday. “Magna Carta Holy Grail” feature Hip Hop producers Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin. Fans were then directed to visit the album’s website MagnaCartaHolyGrail.com.
Industry analyst Krista Smith says the campaign is a win-win for everybody.
Will you be one of the first one-million Samsung Galaxy users to download the app?

The mean streets of Washington, D.C. have proven to be both ruthless, and lucrative for the organized crime cartel known as The Council. Controlled by one of the most notorious gangsters America has ever seen, the Council has reigned relentlessly.
When their leader “Bad Ass” Bobby Chance is murdered he leaves behind a grieving widow, three small children, and a herculean legacy to uphold. His son Spencer Chance becomes of age, and is immediately thrust into the position his father once held.
Young Spencer falls in love with Theresa, the daughter of a local minister. After a few months of dating he takes her on a luxurious vacation then proposes marriage and a life of happily ever after. Just when he thinks everything is going well, all hell breaks loose.
His brother is a young promiscuous lawyer who has an affair with the wife of a ruthless Jamaican drug lord, his sister is a reckless, cold blooded killer who finds herself on the run after she murders the sister of the commanding chief of the Mexican mob, and his mother is an idolized Diva who secretly detests his fiancé and tries everything in her power to drive her away. Like his father he is deadly, loyal, and always puts family first, but when his brother, sister, and mother become a liability he has to choose between family, and the woman he has quickly fallen in love with all while fighting a dual war.
After he sends his entire family to an undisclosed location he sets in motion his plans to end the ongoing war by any means necessary. Through blood, sweat, and tears Spencer conquers his adversaries, and barely makes it out alive as the future of The Council lies in the balance.
