[Video] Beyonce Sings The National Anthem A cappella At Press Conference, Addresses Controversy

“I love haters. No shade. No hate.” – Beyonce

Earlier today, she shut her critics up by opening up the Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show Press Conference with a live a cappella rendition of the National Anthem before asking, “Any Questions?”. Of course, the first question that was asked was if she indeed sang to a pre-recorded track during the Inauguration, and she responded:
Yes. I am a perfectionist. One thing about me is that I practice until my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show. A very emotional show for me. One of my proudest moments. Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper soundtrack, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the Inauguration and I wanted to make him proud so I decided to sing along to my pre-recorded track which is very common in the industry and I’m very proud of my performance.
I will absolutely be singing live [at the Super Bowl]. I am well rehearsed. This is what I was born to do. What I am born for.
She also answered a few questions on whether Destiny’s Child would be performing with her at the Super Bowl, why she feels the need to protect her daughter Blue Ivy, and if she loved haters.
On whether Kelly Rowland and Michelle would be performing with her during the half-time show:
I don’t know. I can’t really give you any details. I’m sorry!
On why she decided to share moments with her daughter in her upcoming documentary:
I feel like my daughter has changed me and changed my life and has given me so much purpose. I feel like this movie is very necessary and it shows a human side. We are all human and I feel like some point, my job is to protect her, but I’m happy I can tell my story on my terms.
On if she loves haters
I love haters. No shame. No hate.

Cissy Houston Says Whitney Houston Would Not Lip-Sync The National Anthem

It looks as though Cissy Houston may have ended the long-standing debate regarding whether or not Whitney Houston lip-synched her iconic version of the National Anthem. For years, there were rumors that Whitney sang to a pre-recorded track while performing the “Star Spangled Banner” during Super Bowl and that her mic was turned off. This is standard and recommended by the NFL each year so that it is guaranteed that nothing goes wrong during the performance.
After the media made such a huge deal when it was revealed that Beyonce sung the National Anthem to a pre-recorded track during the Inauguration, the most common line used to defend her was, “Whitney did it too.”
But Whitney didn’t lip-sync if you believe her mother Cissy Houston. She recently sat down with Kevin Frazier of OMG Insider and when she was asked if the NFL wanted Whitney to lip-sync, she responded:
She wouldn’t do it. She said, ‘I want to sing it’ and she sang it. She SAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG it! I was really proud of her. Always been proud of her.
Watch the interview (which contradicts what Jimmy Jam has said), plus watch Whitney blowing the National Anthem out of the ball park below:

Teen Shot Dead Days After Performing at Inauguration

Just Talk Exclusive– Little more than a week ago, Hadiya Pendleton was performing with the King College Prep band and drill team at President Obama's inauguration. Yesterday she was killed, shot in a Chicago park while hanging out with her friends after getting out of school early. Hadiya, 15, was with a group of about 10 other teens who moved under a canopy when it started raining. Police say a male jumped a fence and ran toward them, shooting, before driving off. A 16-year-old boy was also injured.
Most of the people in the South Side park at the time were gang members, the Chicago Tribune reports, and most of Hadiya's group scattered after the shooting. The teens are not cooperating with police, and the suspect is still at large. The homicide was one of 42 in Chicago so far this month, the Tribune adds, making it the worst January for homicides since 2002—with two days to go. More than 500 people were murdered in Chicago last year.

Yandy Baby Daddy Mandeecees Harris Molested 15-Year-Old Step-Daughter

Just Talk Exclusive- Kirk Frost isn’t the only accused child molestor Mona Scott-Young thought would be a perfect fit for her ratchet reality empire. After months of hearing rumors that Yandy’s baby daddy, Mandeecees Harris, had impregnated the 15 year old daughter of his baby momma and 48 hours after he made his premiere VH1′s Love & Hip Hop, the case seems to be blown wide open.

Mandeecees (34-years old) faces trial with jury selection starting today. Harris faces various charges for performing various sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl and inappropriately touching her at his former home in Lodi.
Here’s what’s been reported:
Jury selection has already began in Hackensack for the trial of a hip-hop reality TV star accused of molesting an underage girl in Lodi two years ago.

Bergen County prosecutors allege that Harris asked for and received oral sex from the girl and fondled her on various occasions between September 2009 and April 2010. He was arrested later that year and charged with aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.

Harris remains free without bail. He was not present in state Superior Court in Hackensack during jury selection. Court officials expect to have a full panel of jurors, and attorneys made opening remarks on Jan. 29.

“Love and Hip Hop” debuted in 2011, with the third season currently airing. The show’s website on VH1 describes Harris as “a well-known name throughout New York City.” “Through the years he has been concentrating on his real estate endeavors, but now is focused on building an empire in the music industry,” reads his biography.

Harris owns Beat Factory studio in The Bronx and manages several New York City-based rappers, according to the biography.
